Just one week after its launch, FC Porto’s new online store has reached record sales figures. The club’s data reveals an extraordinary growth, even for the holiday season.
The Christmas period is traditionally a positive time for commerce, including online retail, and FC Porto is no exception. However, the end of 2023 is proving to be particularly special for the club. The launch of the new online store is driving extraordinary growth in business through digital channels.
Since November 27, sales volume has grown by 85% compared to the same period in 2022, with the number of orders increasing by over 55%.
FC Porto’s new online store was developed using the Adobe Commerce solution in partnership with local partner TOOGAS, with support from Altice and Sapo. This store is just the first visible aspect of the ongoing technological revolution at the club, which aims to reposition its digital presence.
This first stage is part of the Digital Transformation Program, launched in June 2022, which mobilizes a large team from multiple departments within the club, along with both national and international partners. Over the past few months, FC Porto has been strategically and conceptually developing the project, with the support of Adobe, the global technology partner and solution adopted.
